 Bean Group acquires leading New England Brokerage Firm, Virtual Homes Real Estate

April 5, 2012 - We are pleased to announce that Bean Group has acquired Virtual Homes Real Estate, a leading brokerage firm headquartered in Amherst, New Hampshire. 

Virtual Homes Real Estate is an innovative company that evolved from a merger between former RE/MAX franchises and a leading Internet marketing company. For 20 years Virtual Homes operated as RE/MAX Country Properties in New Hampshire, and for 5 years as RE/MAX Innovations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In mid-2009 the company changed it’s name to Virtual Homes Real Estate.

This acquisition brings two complimentary cultures and philosophies together.  As part of the acquisition we are welcoming 33 exceptional REALTORS from Virtual Homes to Bean Group. The new office in Amherst, NH, located across from the Amherst Country Club at 55 Ponemah Hill Road is Bean Group’s thirteenth office location.

Virtual Homes clients have long enjoyed a phenomenal marketing network supported by literally hundreds of real estate websites throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont. As a result of this acquisition, the Virtual Homes internet marketing platform will be fully integrated into Bean Group’s existing network, providing expanded market coverage and Internet presence throughout the Company’s footprint.

 Bean Group Ranked in Top 300 Real Estate Brokers in Country By Sales Volume  

March 30, 2012 - Bean Group has again been named to the Real Trends 500 largest brokers in the US, ranked both by closed transactions and by closed sales volume.

“The 2012 list is our fourth consecutive time we have landed on the Real Trends 500 list in as many years,” said Michael Bean, President and CEO of Bean Group, “Not only is it our fourth year on the 500 list, but Bean Group ranked in the top 300 (#283) for overall dollar sales volume.
